9:02:30 AM Chairman Martineau Opening of Competitive Sealed Proposals for a Five-Year Contract with the Gallatin Solid Waste Management District for Grinding and Processing of Green/Clean Wood Waste for the Logan Landfill and the Bozeman Convenience Site
9:02:48 AM Gallatin Solid Waste Management District Manager Jim Simon Opened the following bids: Marks Lumber, Clancy, MT - Bozeman Convenience Site - $4.34/yard and mobilization of $2,800, Logan Landfill - $4.34/yard and mobilization of $2,400, alternative mobilization cost of $3,120 if they come to both sites at the same time, Terra Firma Organics, Jackson, WY - Bozeman Convenience Site - $4.38/yard and grinder mobilization of $1,045, Logan Landfill - $4.38/yard, total mobilization is $6,040 for both Bozeman Convenience Site and Logan Landfill, Osler Logging, Bozeman, MT - Bozeman Convenience Site and Logan Landfill - $5.85/yard, mobilization costs were not addressed. Bid bonds were received from all bidders. The bids will be reviewed and the committee will provide a recommendation to the Gallatin Solid Waste Management District Board April 23, 2014.
